I was very hesitant to purchase without more pictures of the calendar posted, but I found the Busy Family Planner for 2016 and after seeing some of the pictures there and reading the reviews, I went ahead and purchased it, since it looked like a great calendar. I love the graphics and it is a cute calendar, but I was surprised to see how much smaller it was than my current one. I'm posting some pictures of the calendar, including one of the months, the back of the calendar, and one of it beside my current calendar. I found the size of the grids hard to write everything in. One of the things that makes the grids smaller is the very left column is where you can put the names of your family members - I never use this feature, I rather just have the 7 columns for the days of the week. It's still bigger and nicer than the typical non family calendars, I just really got used to the bigger size of my last one! The size of the grids is my biggest complaint of this calendar, but overall it is a cute and functional calendar. IT has a magnetic strip and a hanger if you want to put it on the wall, I love how it can be used either way! Also, the pocket on the bottom is convenient for holding the stickers that it came with and anything else you might want to store in it. The designs are adorable for each month, and the stickers are great for helping emphasize holidays/special days. Hopefully the pictures I add will help you in making your decision.Product details

Order every year
has enough room to right everthing for a family of five
I've order this calendar 2 years in a row now. I like that it has 18 months vs. 12. It helps me to plan in advance for my family. It also lets everyone else know what is going on.
My favorite planner. Magnetic holder keeps it on the side of the fridge, pocket holds invitations, enough room in each square to record our daily events and my son likes to be involved in using the stickers.
I should have paid attention to the reviews. It's much smaller than I thought both in overall size and the size of the individual date boxes, and there's no master page that sticks out the side so that you only write the family names once for all the months. I had to go to every month and re-write everyone's name on each line. That in no way makes mommy's life easier. It is very colorful and I love the pictures, just wish it was bigger.
I love that calendar has up to 5 lines for each member of the family. It really helps to keep track of what each family member has going on thatcdsy and helps us coordinate our schedules. It is a time saver and it is cute as well. Comes with helpful reminder stickers, too.
Having to write all the names every week every month is VERY tedious. Another reviewer commented on the pocket. On my Dec 2017 page, the pocket itself does not cover any of the dates but if you put anything taller than the pocket in it, it would. I never use the pocket anyway but that might be an issue for some people.
Another issue is that there are only boxes for five people, so I have had to cram one of the names in the space with the days of the week.
A huge plus though is that it stays very nicely on the refrigerator with the attached magnet. I'm going to look elsewhere next year.
